Emirates A380 A6-EDW, which was in storage at Dubai World Central from 14th April – 1st June, returned to service this evening operating EK500 Dubai – Mumbai.

Emirates A380 A6-EDW EK32 Al Ain Diversion.

Emirates A380 A6-EDW operating EK32 London Heathrow – Dubai (depart London Heathrow 28th March) diverted via Al Ain this morning due to long weather-based hold times at Dubai.

Emirates A380 A6-EDW Bangkok Flight Switch.

A380 A6-EDW arrived into Bangkok as EK372 from Dubai this afternoon, however following the earlier A380 technical issue at Bangkok instead of turning around to operate EK373 back to Dubai it instead operated the delayed EK384 Bangkok – Hong Kong sector. EK373 Bangkok – Dubai was cancelled.

Emirates A380 A6-EDW Shanghai Technical Issue.

A380 A6-EDW arrived into Shanghai Pudong as EK302 from Dubai this afternoon, however it was unable to operated its scheduled return as EK303 due to a technical issue.

Emirates A380 A6-EDW Enters Service.

Airbus A380 A6-EDW entered service this morning operating EK97 Dubai – Rome Fiumicino. The flight departed almost three hours behind schedule and it is not clear whether A6-EDW was the scheduled aircraft or was pressed into service due to a technical issue with another member of the fleet. The aircraft is confirmed as being configured 14F/76J/427Y without crew rest areas.
