A380 A6-EDV operating EK131 Dubai – Moscow Domodedovo diverted to Helsinki late tonight due to weather at Moscow. This is the first Emirates A380 to visit Helsinki.

A380 A6-EDV Enters Service.

Airbus A380 A6-EDV entered service today operating EK5 Dubai – London Heathrow. The aircraft is confirmed as in 14F/76J/427Y configuration with crew rest areas.

Emirates A380 A6-EDV Delivered.

Airbus A380 A6-EDV was delivered Finkenwerder – Dubai today as EK7380. This brings the A380 fleet up to 22 members.

This is the first A380 delivery since 24th February. Emiratesto take delivery of any more A380s until initial wing root modifications had been completed by Airbus. It is still expected that each A380 will need to be removed from service for 2-3 months each at a later date for wing root modifications to be completed.
