Emirates A380 A6-EOM arrived into Tokyo Narita early this evening as EK318 from Dubai, however the return EK319 has been delayed overnight. It is not clear whether this is due to a technical or a weather issue.

Following its diversion yesterday, Emirates A380 A6-EOB positioned Birmingham – Manchester this morning as EK2502 this morning then operated today’s scheduled EK22 Manchester – Dubai.

Emirates A380 A6-EOD EK21 Dusseldorf Diversion.

Emirates A380 A6-EOD operating EK21 Dubai – Manchester held to the south of Manchester this morning then diverted to Dusseldorf due to weather at Manchester. The aircraft continued Dusseldorf – Manchester during the afternoon.

Emirates A380 A6-EDA EK318 Nagoya Diversion.

Emirates A380 A6-EDA operating EK318 Dubai – Tokyo Narita diverted to Nagoya this evening having gone around at Tokyo Narita due to weather. As a result the return EK319 was cancelled.

Emirates B777-300ER A6-EQK Tokyo Haneda Delay.

Emirates Boeing 777-31HER A6-EQK operated this morning’s EK313 Tokyo Haneda – Dubai with a seventeen hour delay early this evening as EK313D. It is not clear whether the delay was due to a crew or a technical issue.

Emirates A380 A6-EEU EK212 New York JFK Diversion.

Emirates A380 A6-EEU operating EK212 Houston – Dubai (depart Houston 24th January) diverted to New York JFK early this morning due to a medical emergency on board. As crew did not have sufficient hours to reach Dubai without rest the aircraft remained on the ground at New York JFK until late this evening when it continued New York JFK – Dubai as EK212D.

Emirates A380 A6-EUF EK203 London Heathrow Technical Diversion.

Emirates A380 A6-EUF operating EK203 Dubai – New York JFK was in Estonian airspace this morning approaching Tallinn when it turned and diverted to London Heathrow due to a technical issue. The aircraft was able to continue after approximately two hours on the ground, however after arrival at New York JFK the return EK202 was cancelled due to a further technical issue.

Emirates A380 A6-EDZ Continues from Melbourne.

Following its diversion last night Emirates A380 A6-EDZ departed Melbourne early this morning continuing yesterday’s diverted EK414 Dubai – Sydney, routing Melbourne – Sydney using EK414 as its callsign.

Emirates A380 A6-EEX Shanghai Pudong Flight Switch.

Emirates A380 A6-EEX arrived into Shanghai Pudong last night as EK304 from Dubai then turned around to operate yesterday’s delayed EK305 Shanghai Pudong – Dubai in the early hours of this morning as EK305D.

Emirates A380 A6-EDB operating EK91 Dubai – Milan Malpensa diverted via Zurich this evening due to a security issue at Milan Malpensa due to a person on the airfield.

Emirates A380 A6-EDF encountered a technical issue at Guangzhou in the early hours of this morning causing a twenty hour delay to EK363 Guangzhou – Dubai which the aircraft was able to operate this evening as EK363D.

Emirates B777-300ER A6-ENX Cairo Rescue Mission.

Following the earlier Boeing 777-300ER technical issue at Cairo, Emirates Boeing 777-31HER A6-ENX positioned Dubai – Cairo early this evening as EK2619 in order to operate the delayed EK928 Cairo – Dubai.

Emirates B777-300ER A6-EBR Cairo Tyre Damage.

Emirates Boeing 777-31HER A6-EBR operated EK927 Dubai – Cairo this morning, however the return EK928 rejected take off at high speed due to a vehicle on the runway and damaged several tyres. The aircraft was unable to operate the flight.

Emirates B777-200LR A6-EWE Returns from Dubai Maintenance.

Emirates Boeing 777-21HLR A6-EWE, which has been under maintenance at Dubai since 26th November 2018, returned to service late tonight operating EK538 Dubai – Ahmedabad. The aircraft has been reconfigured from 8F/42J/216Y to 38J/264Y.

Emirates Boeing 777-31HER A6-ECF, which was in storage at Dubai World Central from 4th December 2018 – 3rd January 2019, returned to service this afternoon operating EK943 Dubai – Baghdad.
