Emirates Announce Santiago de Chile Service.

Emirates today announced a 5 x weekly Dubai – Sao Paulo Guarulhos – Santiago de Chile service to commence on 5th July 2018. The service will be operated by Boeing 777-200LRs reconfigured to 38J/238Y to the following schedule:

EK263 Dubai 0905 – 1700 Sao Paulo Guarulhos 1830 – Santiago de Chile 2140 Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays
EK264 Santiago de Chile 0110 – 0555 Sao Paulo Guarulhos 0745 – Dubai 0515+1 Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays.

Emirates B777-300ER A6-EGG Amman Weather Cancellation.

Emirates Boeing 777-31HER A6-EGG arrived into Amman in the early hours of this morning as EK905 from Dubai (depart Dubai 29th January), however the return EK906 was cancelled due to weather. The aircraft was able to position Amman – Dubai late in the afternoon as EK2620.

Emirates B777-300ER A6-ENY Returns from Multan.

Following its overnight weather delay, Emirates Boeing 777-31HER A6-ENY departed Multan early this afternoon operating yesterday’s delayed EK631 Multan – Dubai as EK631D.

Emirates Announce Direct Dubai – Newark Service.

Emirates today announced a direct Dubai – Newark service to commence on 1st June 2018. The daily service will be operated by Three Class Boeing 777-300ERs to the following schedule:

EK223 Dubai 0300 – Newark 0900
EK224 Newark 1150 – Dubai 0840+1.

Emirates Reduce New York JFK But Increase Florida Services.

Emirates today announced that with effect from 25th March 2018 it will withdraw the EK207/EK208 Dubai – New York JFK rotation. New York JFK will therefore reduce to two direct and one service via Milan Malpensa daily. From the same date services on the Dubai – Orlando and Dubai – Fort Lauderdale routes will increase from 5 x weekly to daily.

Emirates A380 A6-EVB Positions to Finkenwerder.

Emirates A380 A6-EVB positioned Toulouse – Finkenwerder today wearing test registration F-WWSL. This aircraft was originally intended for Skymark Airlines as JA380A and has been in storage at Toulouse since 4th July 2014.

Emirates A380 A6-EDZ Overnight Tokyo Narita Delay.

Emirates A380 A6-EDZ operated EK318 Dubai – Tokyo Narita this morning, however the return EK319 has been cancelled and the aircraft will remain at Tokyo Narita at least overnight due to weather at Tokyo Narita.

Emirates B777-300ER A6-ENT Continues from Newcastle.

Following its diversion yesterday, Emirates Boeing 777-31HER A6-ENT departed Newcastle this morning continuing yesterday’s diverted EK27 Dubai – Glasgow, routing Newcastle – Glasgow as EK27D. The aircraft then operated yesterday’s delayed EK28 Glasgow – Dubai as EK28D.

Emirates B777-300ER A6-EGN Returns to Service.

Emirates Boeing 777-31HER A6-EGN, which was in storage at Dubai World Central from 3rd August 2017 – 16th January 2018, returned to service this afternoon operating EK175 Dubai – St Petersburg.

Emirates Signs for a Potential 36 More A380s.

Emirates this morning announced that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding for an order for an additional 20 Airbus A380s with options on a further sixteen. Deliveries will commence on 2020.

Following the A380 technical issue at Sao Paulo in the early hours of this morning, Emirates A380 A6-EOF positioned Dubai – Sao Paulo as EK2567 late this afternoon in order to operate this morning’s delayed EK262 Sao Paulo – Dubai after midnight as EK262D.

Emirates Boeing 777-31HER A6-EBA was withdrawn from service and entered the Dubai maintenance facility in the early hours of this morning after arriving as EK623 from Lahore.

Emirates B777-300ER A6-EBY Returns from Dubai Maintenance.

Emirates Boeing 777-36NER A6-EBY, which was in storage at Dubai World Central from 8th October – 7th December 2017, and has been under maintenance at Dubai since, returned to service this morning operating EK424 Dubai – Perth.

Emirates A380 A6-EUI Continues from Dallas-Fort Worth.

Following its diversion on 4th January, Emirates A380 A6-EUI departed Dallas-Fort Worth early this afternoon continuing the diverted EK207 Dubai – New York JFK of 4th January, routing Dallas-Fort Worth – New York JFK as EK207D. The aircraft then operated today’s scheduled EK206 New York JFK – Milan Malpensa – Dubai.

Following its diversion on 4th January, Emirates A380 A6-EDZ departed Toronto in the early hours of this morning continuing the diverted EK205 Dubai – Milan Malpensa – New York JFK of 4th January, routing Toronto – New York JFK as EK205D. The aircraft then operated the delayed EK202 New York – Dubai of 4th January as EK202D.

Emirates A380 A6-EUK Departs Again for New York JFK.

Following its return to Dubai yesterday due to weather at New York JFK, Emirates A380 A6-EUK departed again in the early hours of this morning operating yesterday’s delayed EK203 Dubai – New York JFK as EK203D.

Following its diversion yesterday, Emirates A380 A6-EEO departed Washington this afternoon continuing yesterday’s diverted EK201 Dubai – New York JFK routing Washington – New York JFK as EK2550. Emirates A380 A6-EUK operating EK203 Dubai – New York JFK was around two hours into the flight to the south of Volgograd when it turned back to Dubai due to worsening weather at New York JFK.

Emirates A380 A6-EDZ operating the Milan Malpensa – New York JFK of EK205 Dubai – Milan Malpensa – New York JFK diverted to Toronto this evening due to weather at New York JFK.

Emirates A380 A6-EEX Melbourne Flight Switch.

Emirates A380 A6-EEX arrived into Melbourne this morning as EK404 from Dubai (depart Dubai 3rd January), however instead of going to a remote stand until this evening’s return EK405, following the earlier A380 technical issue at Melbourne the aircraft instead operated today’s delayed EK406 Melbourne – Auckland and return EK407 Auckland – Melbourne sectors. The aircraft then operated the delayed EK405 Melbourne – Dubai. As a result today’s EK407 Melbourne – Dubai sector was cancelled.

Emirates A380 A6-EOF Melbourne Technical Issue.

Emirates A380 A6-EOF arrived into Melbourne this morning as EK406 from Dubai (depart Dubai 3rd January), however it was unable to operate the onward sector to Auckland due to a technical issue.

Emirates B777-300ER A6-EBE EK620 Lahore Diversion.

Emirates Boeing 777-36NER A6-EBE operating EK620 Dubai – Sialkot diverted to Lahore this morning due to weather at Sialkot. The aircraft was able to continue to Lahore after four hours on the ground. However crew did not have sufficient hours to operate EK621 Sialkot – Dubai and the aircraft will overnight at Sialkot.

Emirates B777-300ER A6-EBL Withdrawn.

Emirates Boeing 777-31HER A6-EBL was withdrawn from service and entered the Dubai maintenance facility this evening after arriving as EK609 from Karachi.
