A380 A6-EUB preparing to operate the Singapore – Dubai sector of EK405 Melbourne – Singapore – Dubai (depart Melbourne 29th March) was being pushed back at Singapore when its right wingtip was in collission with the left wing of ScootBoeing 787-9 9V-OJA. The flight sector was cancelled and passengers reaccommodated on other services.

Boeing 777-31HER A6-EBU operated EK440 Dubai – Adelaide this morning, however the return EK441 was initially delayed overnight at subsequently cancelled due to a technical issue discovered during an inspection of the aircraft at Adelaide following a lightning strike en route.

Emirates B777-300ER A6-ECO Seattle Cancellation.

Boeing 777-36NER A6-ECO operated EK227 Dubai – Seattle this morning, however the return EK228 was cancelled and the aircraft instead positioned back to Dubai as EK2696.

Emirates B777-200LR A6-EWH Geneva Extra.

Boeing 777-21HLR A6-EWH operated a Dubai – Geneva sector this afternoon as EK2501. This did not appear on any departure or arrival boards but may have been a charter.

A380 A6-EEB operating EK18 Manchester – Dubai stopped the climb at 9, 000 ft this afternoon when it was unable to retract the landing gear, entered a hold close to Wakefield to work checklists and then diverted to London Heathrow, still at 9,000 ft. The flight was subsequently cancelled.

A380 A6-EUX made its first flight from Toulouse today wearing test registration F-WWSG and positioned Toulouse – Finkenwerder.

Withdrawn Emirates B777-300 A6-EMP Leaves Dubai.

Withdrawn Emirates Boeing 777-31H A6-EMP, which has been under maintenance at Dubai since 3rd February, departed in the early hours of this morning routing Dubai – Boston as EK2695, and will continue Boston – Phoenix Goodyear early tomorrow. The aircraft is now in plain white livery with no markings.
