Emirates A340-300 A6-ERP, which has been under maintenance at Dubai since 21st January when it positioned back from Lusaka after encountering a technical issue, returned to service this evening operating EK955 Dubai – Beirut.

Emirates Announce Direct Dubai – Auckland Service.

Emirates today announced a direct Dubai – Auckland daily Boeing 777-200LR service to commence on 1st March 2016. Schedules are as follows:

EK448 Dubai 1005 – Auckland 1100+1
EK449 Auckland 2130 – Dubai 0545+1.

This will be the longest scheduled flight in the world.

Emirates A380 A6-EOU entered service this morning operating EK73 Dubai – Paris CDG. We understand the aircraft to be in 14F/76J/429Y configuration.

Emirates A330-200 A6-EAF Returns from Addis Ababa.

Following the technical issue it encountered on 17th January, Emirates A330-200 A6-EAF positioned Addis Ababa – Dubai this afternoon as EK2532 and immediately entered the Dubai maintenance facility.

Emirates A380 A6-EOU Delivered.

Emirates A380 A6-EOU was delivered Finkenwerder – Dubai this evening as EK7380. This brings the Emirates A380 fleet up to 73 aircraft.

Emirates B777-300ER A6-EBF Returns from Multan.

Following the technical issue it encountered yesterday, Emirates Boeing 777-31HER A6-EBF departed Multan this afternoon operating yesterday’s delayed EK631 Multan – Dubai as EK631D.

Emirates B777-300ER A6-ECK Returns from Colombo.

Following the technical issue it encountered yesterday, Emirates Boeing 777-31HER A6-ECK departed Colombo this evening operating yesterday’s delayed EK655 Colombo – Dubai as EK655D.

Emirates A330-200 A6-EKQ Dubai Test Flight.

Withdrawn Emirates A330-200 A6-EKQ, which has been under maintenance at Dubai since 21st December 2015, undertook a Dubai – Dubai test flight this morning as EK2551.

Emirates A380 A6-EEP Takes Over EK413, Diverts via Melbourne.

Emirates A380 A6-EEP arrived into Sydney as EK414 from Dubai this evening, ed however instead of overnighting at Sydney the aircraft took over the Sydney – Dubai sector of EK413 Auckland – Sydney – Dubai, which had earlier diverted via Melbourne due to weather. There was insufficient time to fully cater A6-EEP before curfew at Sydney so it operated Sydney – Melbourne – Dubai as EK413D.

Emirates A380 A6-EDE EK413 Melbourne Diversion.

Emirates A380 A6-EDE operating the Auckland – Sydney sector of EK413 Auckland – Sydney – Dubai diverted via Melbourne this evening due to weather at Sydney. The aircraft arrived into Sydney too late to be turned around to depart before curfew and so will overnight at Sydney and operate EK415 Sydney – Dubai tomorrow.

Emirates A330-200 A6-EKX Lusaka Rescue Mission.

Following the A340-300 technical issue at Lusaka on 17th January, Emirates A330-200 A6-EKX positioned Dubai – Lusaka as EK2535 this morning in to operate the delayed EK714 Lusaka – Dubai sector of 17th January as EK714D.

Emirates A340-300 A6-ERP operated the Harare – Lusaka sector of EK714 Harare – Lusaka – Dubai this evening, however the onward sector to Dubai has been delayed at lease overnight due to a technical issue.

Emirates B777-300ER A6-EPI Delivered.

Emirates Boeing 777-31HER A6-EPI was delivered Paine Field – Dubai this evening as EK7777. This brings the B777-300ER fleet up to 113 aircraft.

Emirates Announce Double Daily Perth Service.

Emirates today announced that it will upgauge the EK424/EK425 Dubai – Perth service from Boeing 777-300ER to A380 operation from 1st August 2016. This will give Perth double daily A380 service.

Emirates Announce Dubai – Tunis – Malta Triangle.

Emirates today announced a new Dubai – Tunis – Malta – Dubai triangular A340-300 service to commence on 1st March 2016. The schedule is as follows:

EK749 Dubai 0825 – 1245 Tunis 1415 – 1525 Larnaca 1645 – 0050+1 Dubai.

Emirates A380 A6-EOZ First Flight.

Emirates A380 A6-EOZ made its first flight from Toulouse today wearing test registration F-WWST and positioned Toulouse – Finkenwerder.

Emiraates Delay Panama City Launch.

Emirates today cancelled flights on the new Dubai – Panama City Boeing 777-200LR route, scheduled to commence on 1st February 2016, until 30th March 2016. The route is now scheduled to commence on 31st March 2016.

Emirates Announce EK107/EK108 Athens Re-route.

Emirates today announced that the existing EK107/EK108 Dubai – Larnaca – Malta A330-200 rotation will be amended to a new Dubai – Larnaca – Athens Three Class Boeing 777-300ER rotation from March 1st 2016. The new schedule is as follows:

Emirates Announce EK53/EK54 Munich A380 Upgauge.

Emirates today announced that the EK53/EK54 Dubai – Munich rotation will switch from Boeing 777-300ER to A380 operation from 1st June 2016. This will give Munich triple daily A380 service.

Emirates Announce Second Daily Amsterdam A380.

Emirates today announced that the EK149/EK150 Dubai – Amsterdam rotation will switch from Boeing 777-300ER to A380 operation from 1st February 2016. This will give Amsterdam double daily A380 service.
