EK48 Frankfurt – Dubai operated by Boeing 777-31HER A6-EGA diverted via Doha.

EK52 Munich – Dubai operated by Boeing 777-31H A6-EMW diverted via Doha.

EK92 Milan Malpensa – Dubai operated by Boeing 777-31H A6-EMR diverted via Al Fujairah.

EK349 Singapore – Colombo – Dubai operated by Boeing 777-31H A6-EMP diverted via Muscat.

EK381 Hong Kong – Dubai operated by Airbus A380 A6-EDJ diverted via Al Ain.

A380 A6-EDZ First Flight.

Airbus A380 A6-EDZ made its first flight from Toulouse today wearing registration F-WWSD.

Emirates A380 A6-EDB Returns Dubai Maintenance.

Emirates Airbus A380 A6-EDB, which has been under maintenance at Dubai since 4th March, /returned to service today operating EK346 Dubai – Kuala Lumpur. This is the first use of A380 equipment on the EK346/EK347 Dubai – Kuala Lumpur.

A380 A6-EEA First Flight.

Airbus A380 A6-EEA made its first flight from Toulouse today wearing registration F-WWSI.

Emirates Boeing 777-300ER A6-EBD EK606 Ahmedabad Diversion.

Emirates Boeing 777-31HER A6-EBD operating EK606 Dubai – Karachi diverted to Ahmedabad today after Karachi Airport was closed due to a private aircraft bursting ┬átyres and leaving debris on the runway. A6-EBD returned from Ahmedabad to Dubai as EK606 with the result that EK607 Karachi – Dubai was cancelled.

A380 A6-EDP EK412 Brisbane Diversion.

Fog at Sydney caused Airbus A380 A6-EDP operating EK412 Dubai – Sydney – Auckland (depart Dubai 20th April) to divert via Brisbane this morning. The routing was therefore Dubai – Brisbane – Sydney – Auckland.

A330-200 A6-EAM Dubai Test Flight.

Airbus A330-200 A6-EAM, which has been out of service at Dubai since 19th March 2012, operated a brief Dubai – Dubai test flight this morning as EK999.

A6-EWB EK229 Tehran Medical Diversion.

Boeing 777-21HLR operating EK229 Dubai – Seattle diverted via Tehran today due to a issue on board. Arrival into Seattle was delayed by just under three hours.

Emirates A380 A6-EDM Auckland Technical Issue.

Emirates Airbus A380 A6-EDM arrived into Auckland today as EK412 from Dubai and Sydney (depart Dubai 8th April) however the return EK413 has been delayed by around 24 hours suggesting a technical issue with the aircraft.

Emirates A380 A6-EDQ Positions Home from Hong Kong.

Following the incident on 7th April when it blew tyres whilst landing at Hong Kong and closed the north runway for several hours, Emirates Airbus A380 A6-EDQ was able to position Hong Kong – Dubai this morning as EK7373.

Emirates A380 A6-EDQ Blows Tyres in Hong Kong Landing.

Emirates Airbus A380 A6-EDQ operating EK384 Dubai – Bangkok – Hong Kong blew two right hand main gear tyres on landing and became disabled on a taxiway closing the north runway for several hours. Passengers were disembarked via mobile stairs. The return flight EK385 has been cancelled.

Sparks were seen coming from the right hand bogie on landing and were clearly visible to passengers watching the landing via the tail camera on the IFE system.

A6-EMQ Positions from Amman.

Boeing 777-31H A6-EMQ, which encountered a technical issue at Amman yesterday, positioned Amman – Dubai this morning as EK7002.

A6-EMF Amman Rescue.

With Boeing 777-300 A6-EMQ out of service at Amman Boeing 777-21H A6-EMF positioned Dubai – Amman as EK7001 late this evening and will operate the delayed EK904 Amman – Dubai in the early hours of tomorrow morning as EK904D.

A6-EGH Returns from Brisbane.

Boeing 777-31HER A6-EGH, which was delayed overnight in Brisbane, was able to continue with the Brisbane – Dubai sector of yesterday’s delayed EK435 Auckland – Brisbane – Dubai service today. The flight operates as EK435D.

A6-EDR EK241 Manchester Diversion

EK241 Dubai – Toronto was operated today by A380 A6-EDR, this aircraft is in 38M configuration without crew rest areas. The use of such aircraft on this route is permitted so long as sufficient passenger seats are available for use as crew rest seats. It appears that today insufficient seats were available as the flight operated via Manchester where a crew change took place. The return EK242 was also originally scheduled to stop in Manchester but in the end operated direct to Dubai, suggesting there were sufficient cancellations or no shows to make enough passenger seats available to crew.

A6-EMQ Amman Technical Issue.

Boeing 777-31H A6-EMQ operated EK903 Dubai – Amman today however the return EK904 has been delayed indicating a technical issue with the aircraft.

A6-EGH EK435 Brisbane Issue.

Boeing 777-31HER A6-EGH operated the Auckland – Brisbane sector of EK435 Auckland – Brisbane – Dubai today however the onward sector to Dubai has been delayed until tomorrow indicating a technical issue with the aircraft.
