Boeing 777-31HER A6-EGN departed Paine Field on delivery to Dubai as EK777 today.
A380 A6-EDX made its first flight from Toulouse today as F-WWAK. The aircraft then positioned Toulouse – Finkenwerder.
Boeing 777-31HER A6-EGO was unveiled at Paine Field today wearing large “1000th 777” titles along the rear fuselage.
Today’s scheduled EK412 Dubai – Sydney – Auckland departed around twelve hours late and therefore operated Dubai – Sydney only. As a result tomorrow’s EK413 will operate Sydney – Dubai only. The flights were operated by Airbus A380 A6-EDA.
From 1 August 2012 Emirates has announced increased services on the Dubai – Doha and Dubai – Kuwait routes.
Dubai – Doha will increase from five to six daily services three of which will be operated by Boeing 777-300/300ERs and three of which will be operated by Airbus A330-200s.
Dubai – Kuwait will increase from four to five daily making thirty five weekly flights. Twenty four of these will be operated by Boeing 777-300/300ERs and eleven of which will be operated by Airbus A330-200s.

Airbus A340-500 A6-ERI departed Vienna in the early hours of the morning to position to Dubai as EK7002. The aircraft encountered a technical issue on February 24th.

The EK35/EK36 Dubai – Newcastle rotation will switch from Two Class Airbus A330-200 to Two Class Boeing 777-300ER operation from 1 September 2012.
The EK105/EK106 Dubai – Athens rotation will switch from Three Class Airbus A330-200 to Three Class Boeing 777-300 operation from 1 September 2012.

Airbus A380 A6-EDS arrived into Shanghai today as EK302 from Dubai but the return EK303 has been delayed until tomorrow when it will operate as EK303D.
From 4 March 2012 the EK211/EK212 Dubai – Houston rotation will switch from Boeing 777-200LR to Boeing 777-300ER operation whilst the EK229/EK230 Dubai – Seattle rotation will switch from Boeing 777-300ER to Boeing 777-200LR. Dubai – Seattle is launched on 1 March 2012 and will thus only operate with Boeing 777-300ER for three days.
Airbus A340-300 A6-ERS operating EK51 Dubai – Munich went around at Munich after crew reported loss of a hydraulic system. The aircraft landed around 30 minutes later and was able to operate the return EK52 with a delay of around 3 hours.
Airbus A380 A6-EDJ, under maintenance at Dubai since operating EK762 Johannesburg – Dubai on 23rd January, returned to service today as EK73 Dubai – Paris CDG.
Boeing 777-31H A6-EMW, / which encountered a technical issue in Colombo on February 14th, positioned Colombo – Dubai today as EK7651.
Boeing 777-36NER A6-ECL operating EK434 Dubai – Brisbane – Auckland diverted to Sydney on the Dubai – Brisbane leg due to Brisbane airport being closed due to a Toll Aviation turboprop having a landing incident. Once the airport re-opened the flight departed Sydney for Brisbane making a Dubai – Sydney – Brisbane – Auckland routing.
From August 1 the EK147/EK148 Dubai – Amsterdam rotation will switch to A380 operation.
Boeing 777-31H A6-EMW operated EK652 Dubai – Colombo today however the return EK653 was cancelled indicating a technical issue with the aircraft.
The EK797/EK798 Dubai – Dakar and EK781/EK782 Dubai – Lagos rotations did not operate today.
Airbus A340-300 A6-ERN departed Munich this afternoon operating yesterday’s delayed EK52 Munich – Dubai as EK52D.
Airbus A340-300 A6-ERN operated EK51 Dubai – Munich today however the return EK52 has been postponed until tomorrow.

Boeing 777-31HER A6-EGN made its first flight from Paine Field today as BOE192. This aircraft will be Emirates’ One Hundredth Boeing 777.
Commencing 25th March 2012 Emirates is to split its current Dubai – Addis Ababa – Entebbe operation to provide direct flights to both airports. The new timings will be:

EK730 Entebbe 1540 – Dubai 2155
EK723 Dubai 1030 – Addis Ababa 1330
EK724 Addis Ababa 1610 – Dubai 2120

Boeing 777-300 A6-EMN operated EK502 Dubai – Mumbai today however it was unable to operate the return EK503 due to a technical issue. Boeing 777-300ER A6-ECM positioned Dubai – Mumbai as EK7650 in to operate the delayed EK503.
The EK5/EK6 and EK29/EK30 Dubai – London Heathrow rotations were cancelled today due to snow at London Heathrow.
Airbus A380 A6-EDA, out of service at Dubai since operating EK307 Beijing – Dubai on 6th January, returned to service today as EK761 Dubai – Johannesburg.
Emirates commenced service on the Dubai – Dallas-Fort Worth route today with Boeing 777-21HLR A6-EWA operating the inaugural EK221/EK222 rotation.

Boeing 777-31HER A6-ECG operating EK148 Amsterdam – Dubai (depart Amsterdam 1 February) diverted to Ras Al Khaimah. The aircraft then operated Ras Al Khaimah – Dubai as EK148A.
Boeing 777-36NER A6-EBO operating EK784 Lagos – Dubai (depart Lagos 1 February) diverted via Sharjah.
Airbus A330-200 A6-EKW operated the inaugural EK713/EK714 Dubai – Lusaka – Harare service today.
