Following its overnight delay, Emirates A380 A6-EUO departed Kuala Lumpur in the early hours of this morning operating yesterday’s delayed EK343 Kuala Lumpur – Dubai as EK343D.

Emirates A380 A6-EUO Overnight Kuala Lumpur Delay.

Emirates A380 A6-EUO arrived into Kuala Lumpur yesterday evening as EK342 from Dubai, however its scheduled return to Dubai as EK343 in the early hours of this morning has been delayed overnight. It is not clear whether this is due to a technical or a crew issue.

Emirates A380 A6-EVA First Flight.

Emirates A380 A6-EVA made its first flight from Toulouse today wearing test registration F-WWSN and positioned Toulouse – Finkenwerder. This aircraft was originally destined for Skymark Airlines of Japan.

Following the A380 technical issue at Barcelona yesterday, Emirates A380 A6-EEY positioned Dubai – Barcelona this afternoon as EK2565 in order to operate yesterday’s delayed EK188 Barcelona – Dubai as EK188D.

Emirates B777-300 A6-EMT Returns to Service, Goes Tech.

Emirates Boeing 777-31H A6-EMT, which returned from storage at Dubai World Central on 7th October and which last operated in service on 23rd July, returned to service this morning operating EK600 Dubai – Karachi, however the return EK601 was cancelled due to a technical issue.

Emirates to Axe Australia – Auckland Services.

Emirates today announced that it will cease operation of its Brisbane – Auckland and Melbourne – Auckland A380 services after 24th March 2018. The Sydney – Christchurch service will remain. QANTAS will add additional trans-Tasman services to provide replacement capacity.

Emirates A380 A6-EDK Returns from Barcelona.

Following the technical issue it encountered yesterday, Emirates A380 A6-EDK departed Barcelona this afternoon operating yesterday’s delayed EK186 Barcelona – Dubai as EK186D.

Emirates A380 A6-EUZ Delivered.

Emirates A380 A6-EUZ was delivered Finkenwerder Dubai this afternoon using callsign UAE5GT. This brings the A380 fleet up to 98 aircraft.

Emirates B777-300ER A6-EPE Returns from Dubai Maintenance.

Emirates Boeing 777-31HER A6-EPE, which has been under maintenance at Dubai since 19th September, returned to service early this morning operating yesterday’s delayed EK640/EK641 Dubai – Kabul rotation as EK640D/EK641D.

Emirates B777-300ER A6-EQG Delivered.

Emirates Boeing 777-31HER A6-EQG was delivered Paine Field – Dubai this afternoon as EK7777. The aircraft is the 137th Boeing 777-300ER delivered to Emirates and brings the active fleet up to 136 aircraft.

Emirates Increase Tunis Service.

Emirates today announced that it will increase the EK747/EK748 Dubai – Tunis Boeing 777-300ER rotation from six times weekly to daily with effect from 30th October 2017.

Emirates Increase Stockholm Arlanda Service.

Emirates today announced that it will increase service on the Dubai – Stockholm Arlanda route from seven to ten flights per week with the addition of a new 3 x weekly Boeing 777-300ER service commencing on 8th December 2017. Schedules are as follows:

EK155 Dubai 1500 – Stockholm Arlanda 1845 Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays
EK156 Stockholm Arlanda 2110 – Dubai 0630+1 Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays.

Emirates A380 A6-EOQ Returns from Birmingham.

Following the technical issue it encountered yesterday, Emirates A380 A6-EOQ departed Birmingham early this afternoon operating yesterday’s delayed EK38 Birmingham – Dubai as EK38D.

Emirates A380 A6-EEI Manchester Mouse Cancellation.

Emirates A380 A6-EEI operated EK21 Dubai – Manchester in the early hours of this morning, however the return EK22 was cancelled after a mouse was spotted on board. The aircraft will require fumigation.
