Emirates today announced a daily Dubai – Edinburgh service to commence on 1st October 2018. The Three Class Boeing 777-300ER service will operate to the following schedule:

Emirates Boeing 777-31HER A6-EQK was delivered Paine Field – Dubai as EK7777 this afternoon. This is the 141st Boeing 777-300ER for the airline and brings the active fleet to 138 aircraft. The aircraft is in 6F/42J/306Y configuration with new suites in First Class.

Emirates A380 A6-EUB operated EK701 Dubai – Mauritius this morning, however the return EK702 returned to the gate at Mauritius and was subsequently delayed overnight due to a technical issue.

Emirates A380 A6-EVA was delivered Finkenwerder – Dubai this evening as UAE5GT. The aircraft is in 58J/557Y configuration, wears standard Emirates livery and brings the A380 fleet up to 103 aircraft. This aircraft was originally ordered by Skymark Airlines of Japan.

Emirates A380 A6-EOW Continues from Dar Es Salaam.

Following its diversion yesterday, Emirates A380 A6-EOW departed Dar Es Salaam this morning, continuing yesterday’s diverted EK701 Dubai – Mauritius, routing Dar Es Salaam – Mauritius as EK701D. The aircraft then operate today’s scheduled EK702 Mauritius – Dubai.
